"Trust the past to God's mercy, the present to his love, and the future to his providence." (St. Augustine) We have all sinned and God has shown us mercy after repentance. We don't know what the future holds but we trust in his divine providence and care. Where we need to live is in the present moment. In the here and now is where we experience God's love for us.
