“You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him." (Luke 12:40)

Advent is a special grace time reminding us to always be ready for that coming of Jesus which will be our last. In reality we should always be prepared and watchful, so as not to missed this most important moment of our whole life. This last moment of our earthly existence will determine our existence in eternity. For this reason we should treat each moment of our lives as if this one was the last.  That is why Christ urges us to be watchful and stay awake. Everything depends on our state of relationship with God at that moment.

Come, Lord Jesus, come!
