"The world offers you comfort, but you were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness" (Pope Benedict).

The comfort the world offers is here today but gone tomorrow. There is nothing wrong with comfort, as long as it doesn't distract us from the pursuit of the greatness that God sees for us. Comfort can distract us from pursuing our real destiny, which is not earthly but heavenly, not temporal but eternal. Like St. Paul, whether we have or don't have, our sufficiency is from and in God. Otherwise we may seek what is comfortable and easy now, rather than what is God's will for us, what is good, pleasing and perfect.
