The Gift of God to us is the person of Love. "God so loved the world that he gave us his only begotten Son." He who is love in flesh has given his physical life on the cross so that we may have a share in his divine life. It is the presence of the Holy Spirit within us that reminds us of God's love.

Love is responded to by love. During this season of gifts, let love be the gift we give the most. Let that love be Jesus. Then the circle of love will be complete. What begins with God and given to us is returned to God in and with us. It is this love I wish for you this Christmas and this love I receive from God and you. Merry Christmas!
