This quote puts our lives into perspective. Be who we are not just say who we are. To be a Christian is to believe in, commit to, follow and live as Christ as shown us. This is a daily decision, even from situation to situation in our lives. If we remember who we are and whose we are, then we have a better chance of being that person. Like St. Paul we need to come to the realization: "It is no longer I who live: it is Christ who lives in me." Do we try to reflect this reality in all we do, even though not perfectly?  What is the greatest sign of Christ within us? "They will know you are my disciples, by the love you have for one another." Christ's life and love in us must be reflected through  us to others. This is the light that we are called to show forth in a world that is darkness.
