In today's first reading we read: " The community of believers were of one mind and heart." This is the unity that Jesus prayed for at the Last Supper. It is the ideal which we strive for. It is this unity that makes a difference in any family or community. It doesn't begin with the other, but with me. I must not only desire this unity but I must do what I can to make this unity possible. What is the key to this unity? Love. Where there is true, consistent love between the members, there will be true unity. The source of that love and unity is the Holy Spirit. The instrument used by the Holy Spirit is me and you.  Pray for this love and unity in your family and community. Be an instrument of love and unity.
