The Devil seeks to draw us away from God, as he did with Adam and Eve. When we pray, our focus is God, who is deserving of all praise. When we are humble, our focus is God, to whom we owe everything. When we love as Jesus taught, our focus is God, who is love. When we sign ourselves with the cross, we are embracing the instrument that overcame Satan. We have so many tools at our disposal to avoid falling for the temptations of the Devil. Each of these tools is a grace from God to strengthen us to remain faithful to God.
