 Mary was chosen by Jesus as our model for this reason, so that like her in our humanity we can learn how to make God the center of our lives. Mary’s way is the perfect way, yet it is not ostentatious. Her life is simple but focused. Her passion was the will of God, because she saw herself his handmaid. As our Mother, she invites us to imitate her devotion and love of God, so that, as her children, we will be with God eternally. It begins here on earth.
