So many people spend their fortune on extending their life on earth and fail to prepare for eternity. Jesus said it well. “What profit would there be for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? Or what can one give in exchange for his life”? (Matthew 16:26) Do we have our values and priorities in right order according to God’s plan for us? Or have we bought into the values of a passing world at the risk of our eternal salvation? When I die, all material things are left behind. Only the spiritual things will go with me before the Lord. Will my account be in the red or in the black?
