The pencil is only an instrument by which the writer expresses his thoughts and desires. God uses us use to the extent that we are pliable to express his love for others. Just as it is not the pencil that is important, so we are not the important part of this picture. Yet, in God’s design we are necessary. For it is through us that God desires to reach others in a way that their lives are touched and changed, as the instrument of his love in action. I am nothing outside the hand of God.
