Mary’s Queenship is the ultimate grace that God has given to the Mother of Jesus. As Jesus is King of Kings by virtue of being the Lord of Lords, so Mary is his beloved Queen, reigning with him. She is his perfect creation. Where Eve would not submit totally to God’s will, Mary, surrendered her total self to God, without counting the cost. Crowning Mary as Queen, signifies the role Mary played in the salvation of the world through doing the will of God. Yes, by grace, but also by choice. Mary, we honor you as God honors you. You are indeed blessed among women.
