Humility and service. Two virtues of holy people. What is humility but to see and accept ourselves as God sees and knows us to be! This is our authentic self. Anything else would be pride, the root of all sin. The person that we are in the eyes of God is one who is called to have a servant’s heart, after the Servant of Servant, Jesus. If we are serving in the way that glorifies the Lord, then we don’t have to be concerned about anything else. Bread is broken and given. We are to be broken of our false identity and given to other to fulfill our true identity in Christ. “He must increase and I must decrease.” (John 3:30)
