In the beginning God made all that is good. In the end God will bring all that is good under his Lordship to share his glory. God created us good. If we remain good, even with scars and wounds, we will be with God eternally. It is not that we achieve this goal on our own. It is God who will perfect us and make our victory possible. Our role is to cooperate with his grace by submitting to the work of the Potter as the clay submits in order to become something beautiful at the end. God takes the clump of clay and transforms it into a beautiful teacup, even though there is resistance along the way. We are that lump of clay that can become the teacup. The clay was beautiful. The teacup more beautiful.
