If we kept this in mind throughout our day, reminding ourselves of the truth of this statement, then how would we live each day? Would we ask ourselves often how does what I am doing or saying affect my eternal salvation?  Yes, we will fall short many times. But the very awareness of this reality will bring us back to the right track. As Paul attests: “In him we live and move and have our being.” (Acts 17:28)
