God gave us a free will not to be used against our nature and our relationship with him. How often have we misused this gift for our selfish purpose?  Like Adam and Eve, we want to be equal to God, not in relationship with God as creature to Creator. He gave us this gift so that we can use it in a way that will ultimately benefit us. Jesus, in his humanity, has given us the model to follow. He chose to do the will of the Father, even it meant laying down his life for our salvation. As a result, God lifted him up and seated him at his right hand. When we use our free will to be in union with the will of God for us, then God will lift us up to be with him in glory.

About the Author

Jesus said that we are to go to the ends of the world, proclaiming the Gospel of Salvation. Our recent Holy Fathers have urged us to use the social media to accomplish this task. This is just one attempt to respond to both calls. Join me in this effort.
