Psalm 6:6 “For there is no one in death who would be mindful of you. And who will confess to you in Hell?”

It was the Old Testament understanding that, once people died, they no longer praised God. The New Testament understanding is that, if we die in Christ, we will be in the presence of God, where praising him will be our joy. Those eternally separated from God will not praise God for their focus is themselves. We should praise God daily both by our words and deeds in anticipation of eternally glorifying God for his mercy and love. It is our privilege and our duty to praise God for all the good things he has done and given to us. How often do we praise God during the day? Eternal praise to you, O God!
