Psalms 31:1 “Blessed are they whose iniquities have been forgiven and whose sins have been covered.”

What a mystery of divine revelation! Not only does God forgive our sins, he no longer remembers them. Isaiah says that he casts our sins into the depth of the seas or puts them out of his sight. It is hard for us to fathom that reality. It is hard for us to forgive ourselves, let alone to forget our sins. If God would hold our forgiven sins against us, there will be no hope for us. When we fail to follow the lead of God in letting go of our forgiven sins, we keep ourselves in a self-imposed bondage. Instead of celebrating our blessedness from God, we choose to walk under a dark cloud. Praise God for his blessings. Be the true child of God by forgiving yourself and putting your sins behind you.
